Chloé Castrucci
Young Company 2021: Choreographer, Emma! A Pop Musical
Chloé graduated high school with a SHSM Dramatic Arts Major and is now in her second year of conservatory theatre training at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College pursuing a Theatre and Drama Specialist joint Bachelors Degree and Diploma. She has been dancing since she was 6 years old and danced competitively with The Dance Pac’s part-time team for 6 years. Chloé is an award-winning dancer trained in many styles including song & dance, musical theatre, tap, and hip hop.
Chloé has a wide range of experience both in performance and choreography. Some of her favourite performance credits include the BECK Festival’s collective creation movement piece: Hope Reclaimed, and St. Marcellinus Secondary School’s production of the musical Newsies in which she had a leading role as well as the role of Co-Choreographer. Chloé has also held the responsibility of Dance Captain in many shows in which she has been cast, such as P.L.A.Y Project’s Bye Bye Birdie Jr. and The Sound of Music Jr. Outside of performing, Chloé is passionate about choreographing and teaching dance. Her choreography has been performed in St. Marcellinus’ Newsies, Bravo Broadway’s Aladdin (The Living Arts Centre), and St. Marcellinus’s Arts Night production of “Another Day of Sun” from La La land. She was also hired by The Dance Pac as an assistant-choreographer for recreational and competitive dance classes teaching students aged 9-11.
Chloé is thrilled to be joining the Young Artists Theatre team and can’t wait to share her love and passion for dance and performance with the cast of Emma: A Pop Musical!
